Chengdu Tianma Wind Power Bearing Project Goes into Production

with a total investment of 550 million yuan in Chengdu Tianma Railway Bearing Co., Ltd. precision bearings wind turbine projects have been formally put into operation in Chengdu. The project will be an annual output of wind power bearing (yaw and pitch bearings) 1.2 million units in 2010 to reach 20,000 sets of production capacity in the China domestic market share of more than 60%. It is reported that Chengdu Tianma Railway Bearing Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to Chengdu Tianma) is China's major railway bearings manufacturing enterprises, as China's wind power equipment demand growth and domestic requirements, beginning in 2007, the company will look preview bearings to the wind power development, and become the Dongfang Electric Corporation, Goldwind Science and Technology Co., Ltd. and other well-known enterprises’ main supplier. May 2008, the company expanded production capacity once again, launched a total investment of one billion yuan of wind turbine bearings, including pitch bearings, yaw bearings, spindle bearings and gear box bearings. And on May 11 the completion of a project put into operation, the production of products will achieve new sales income of 1.2 billion. Next, the company will also invest an additional 500 million yuan, by 2010 to reach an annual output of 20,000 sets of wind power bearings.
