Innovative Inventions of LYC Employees Won 4 Gold Medals on the 18th National Exhibition of Inventions(Piciture)
On Aug. 14th, the 18th National Exhibition of Inventions has closed at the Kunming International Exhibition Center in Yunnan Province. The 5 inventions from the LYC employees have won 4 gold medals, and received the high appraisal of the presenting experts (See the picture).
This exhibition was sponsored by China Association of Inventions, the People’s Government of Yunnan Province, undertaken by Yunnan Provincial Science and Technology Department, and assisted by the Ministry of Science and Technology of China, All-China Federation of Trade Union, State Intellectual Property Office, China Communist Youth League, All-China Women’s Federation, China Science and Technology Association and the Chinese Worker’s Technical Association. 1700 inventions from more than 40 provinces and cities countrywide and from Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macao and the Chinese People’s Liberation Army has participated the exhibition. The related leaders and experts from World Invention Organization has also participated the opening ceremony.
Among the 5 participating inventions from LYC company, the “Extra Large Size Precision Shaft Bearing for 400-Ton NC Horizontal Lathe”, the “Extra Large Size Slewing Ring Bearing for Chain-bucket Ship Unloader” and the “Testing Machine for Large Size Wind Power Bearing” from Technology Center have won 3 gold medals; and the “Automatic Tapered Roller Bearing Assembly Machine with Six Rotational Stations” has won 1 gold medal. Some of these inventions have filled the vacancy in the domestic initial inventions and represent the development direction of the domestic bearing industry. Besides the gold, silver and bronze medal for the inventions, the exhibition also set up the “World Intellectual Property Organizing Award (Youth)”, the “Best Innovative Invention Award” from the International Federation of Invention Association (IFIA) and the “Environment Protecting Invention Award”, etc., which is the platform for the Basic-level Trade Union Organizations to exert their functions, and for the magnitude employees to develop their intelligence and value.
