Industrial Cluster for Bearings Formed in Lilou Town and It Grew Rapidly

According to the “1356” strategy of key members’ guiding and project investment promotion constituted by Luolong District, Lilou government actively enlarged the investment promotion, stressed the industry to boost its development, grasp projects to increase the income, and basically formed the economic pattern of regional layout, management of enlarged scale and industrialized development. The bearing parts industry in Lilou town has started since the establishment of Lilou Bearing Roller Plant in 1975. Based on the abundant technological strength in bearing research and development of Luoyang, Lilou is now provided with the manufacturing process capacity in complete series including bearing rollers, steel balls, bearing rings, cage and bearing mould, etc. after about 30 years, in which the production capacity and technique of rollers, steel balls and bearing mould is the most distinguished. The products are sold to Shandong and Zhejiang province, etc. On Aug. 21st, the reporter saw in a bearing roller plant in the Industry Park of Lilou town that there were machines roaring in the workshop which is as large as two football courts and about 600 workers were keeping busy. At present, the industrial cluster for bearings has been formed in Lilou town and has grown rapidly. The number bearing parts enterprises in Lilou has increased to 38, of which the production has taken up about 30% in the market of the whole country.
