Finished Sintered Products Vibrating Griddle Bearings of Iron-Making Plant of Bao Steel Group All Localized

At present, Iron-Making Plant of Bao Steel Group has successfully achieved the 100% localization of finished sintered products vibrating griddle bearings. There are 27 sets of finished sintered products vibrating griddles in the plant. But the imported bearings for them are with short service life and their wastage is too large. They have to spend about CNY600,000 on purchasing the bearings. Meanwhile, the frequent repair caused the damage of sintering capacity, which badly restricts the normal production of sintering. Contraposing this problem, the equipment office of the plant and the equipment department of Bao Steel Group has jointly established the localization team and made deep communication with the famous bearing plant in China, analyzed the bearing operation condition and the load curve of the plant, etc. After three months’ technological development, bearing localization team and the related bearing plant has developed the new localized bearings together. The estimated service life of the new bearing will be as long as 1 year, which can reduce CNY600,000 cost each year.
