The Timken Foundation of Canton Donation Ceremony was held in the first community of Plum & Vitex Garden on Meicun Street. Henry Timken, the founder of Timken Private Foundation, and his wife, Liu Xiang, the director of Wuxi Disabled Persons Federation, Zhou Qing, the director of People’s Political Consultative Conference Working Committee of the District, Cao Quanyuan, the Deputy Director General of Social Undertakings Bureau and the related leaders of Meicun Street were presented at the ceremony.
After the ceremony, Mr. Timken and his wife have visited the Meicun Street Home-based Aged-care Center and were satisfied with the work and achievement on helping the weak group by using the donated capital.
