SMTCL Signed Strategic Agreement with Tri-Ring Group

On Jan. 8th, Shenyang Machine Tool (Group) Co., Ltd. (SMTCL) has signed strategic agreement with Tri-Ring Group to implement the association between strong enterprises and provide strong power for propelling the further development of the two companies. SMTCL mainly manufactures and sells various CNC metal-cutting machine tools and processing center, etc., which has two listed companies: Shenyang Machine Tool (000410) and Kunming Machine Tool (600806). SMTCL is the largest machine tool manufacturer in China and is the national CNC machine tool industrialization base. The sales of the company in 2009 reached 12 billion RMB. Tri-Ring Group is a large provincial manufacturing enterprise to which State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration of Hubei Provincial People’s Government performs duty of sponsor. The company mainly manufactures and sells parts for special autos and mechanical autos, CNC forging machine tool, trades brand-name autos and supporting equipments as well as their materials and provides service. The company has two list companies: Tri-Ring Stock (000883) and Xiangyang Automobile Bearing (000678), which is the bibcock enterprise in Hubei mechanical autos industry. Its sales in 2009 reached 10.5 billion RMB. Meanwhile, SMTCL and Hubei Tri-Ring Supporting Trade Co., Ltd. have jointly established Shenyang Machine Tool (Hubei) 4S Shop in Optics Valley of China in Wuhan Donghu Hi-Tech Technology Development Zone, which is the only machine tool 4S shop in Hubei Province, and also the sixth 4S shop of Shenyang Machine Tool countrywide. For many years, SMTCL has firstly broke through the traditional promotion pattern in China, established the machine tool 4S shop which assembles sales, service, parts and information feedback and achieved first-rate effect.
