This week(from Dec, 25th to 31st, 2009), the bearing steel price in some areas rises a little in the steady trend. Up to this weekend, the countrywide average price of GCr15 continuous casting non-annealed steel of 50mm is 4, 760 yuan/ton; the countrywide average price of GCr15 die casting annealed steel of 100mm is 6, 650 yuan/ton. The mainstream strike price of GCr15 medium continuous casting non-annealed steel is between 4,600 and 4,700 yuan/ton; the mainstream price of continuous casting annealed steel is between 5,400 and 5,450 yuan/ton. This week, the market is relatively smooth; the market resource is sufficient; the stock is kept normal. As the rising of raw material price, the steel plants continuously raise the EXW of bearing steel. Dongbei Special Steel Group Co., Ltd raises 200 yuan/ton. The market price will keep the upward trend in short term.
Charging Market This Week: the domestic refined iron ore market has a little rise. The deal of refined iron ore in northern area is preferable; the southern area still wait for the adjustment of price and the delivery is not so active. This week, the import market has strong atmosphere of rise and most merchants are waiting for the rise. The pig iron market keeps upward trend this week; there is much difference from region to region; the whole deal situation is fine; most plants don’t need worry about stock. There is a little fluctuation in the domestic steel scrap market; influenced by the surge and slump of Shagang Group, Jiangsu plants lowers the purchasing price of steel scrap in succession after they raised. The operation of coke market is booming; the deal is smooth, the coke plants almost have no stock; the coke stock of steel plants is also low. The alloy market is fine as a whole; the price of the common alloy keeps rising; the quotation of chromium alloy has a little rise; the spot resource is out of stock.
