This week(from Jan. 4th to 8th, 2010), the bearing steel price keeps rising within a large range.Up to this weekend, the countrywide average price of GCr15 continuous casting non-annealed steel of 50mm is 4, 964 yuan/ton, increased 200yuan/ton compared with that in last weekend; the countrywide average price of GCr15 die-casting annealed steel of 100mm is 6, 786 yuan/ton. In east China area, the mainstream strike price of GCr15 medium continuous casting non-annealed steel is between 4,800 and 4,950 yuan/ton; the mainstream price of continuous casting annealed steel is between 5,450 and 5,550 yuan/ton. The market resource is not much and many merchants have low stock; though the market deal decreased compared with that in last week, the demand and offer is in balance as a whole. As the rising of raw material price, the steel plants continuously raise the EXW of bearing steel. Xining Special Steel, Daye Nonferrous and Xingcheng Steel rise within the range from 150yuan/ton to 250 yuan/ton. As the steel price rises fast, some down-stream users hold aloof. The bearings steel price is expected to be steady next week.
Charging Market This Week: the domestic refined iron ore market has a little rise; the resource supply is relatively short. The week the imported ore market has rising trend within large range, but the market deal is not good; most hold aloof. The nickel ore market has rising trend in the steady state; inquires increased obviously and the deal is not bad. The pig iron market keeps upward trend this week and the market resource is still not sufficient; The steel scrap market go upward in the steady state; influenced by the change of tax refund and the steel scrap resource is short, many steel plants raise the steel price after the new year’s day. The operation of coke market is booming; the deal is smooth, the coke plants almost have no stock; the coke resource in some area can not meet the demand. The alloy market is fine as a whole; the price of the common alloy keeps rising; the quotation of chromium alloy rise within large range; the providers cherish the stock.
