Recently, CSR Zhuzhou Electric Locomotive Co. Ltd. conferred “2009 Best Provider Award” on SKF China Railway Business Unit to honor the excellence performance of SKF and the cooperation with SKF. SKF mainly provides CSR with axial box for locomotive and subway, etc. and bearings from drive system. CSR Zhuzhou Electric Locomotive Co. Ltd. is the main manufacturing base of electric locomotives in China and is the appointed enterprise for the localization of national railway transport equipments. The main business of the company is the development, manufacturing, sales, maintenance and after-sale service of electric locomotives, electric multiple units and city railway transport equipments as well as the parts. The company has the largest overall installation position of electric locomotive, bogie frame production line, large power traction motor and transformer manufacturing center in the world. It also has the most complete detection experiment station in the industry. The company insists on independent innovation, introducing, digesting and absorbing the foreign advanced technology and continuously improves the system integrating capacity.
