China Machinery Industry May Go Rising First and Fall Later This Year

In 2010, the growth of the production and sales in machinery industry is expected to reach 15%; the growth of profit is predicted to be 10%; the growth of export exchange will be 15%. In the Third Second Session of the Third Member Conference of China Machinery Industry Federation (CMIF), Cai Weici, the Vice-Chairman of CMIF has made the latest prediction of the main economic index in machinery industry in 2010. In 2009, the added value of China machinery industry has increased 13.8% on a year-on-year basis, the growth of the total production value reached 16.07% and the machinery industry kept the steady and rapid growth. However, on the aspect of structure adjustment, compared with the achievements of the independent innovation of heavy equipment, the tamping of basis has obviously lagged behind; compared with the fast rising of domestic sales market, the monthly export value haven’t increased effectively; compared with the economic growth of the current period, the future of the long-term continuously steady growth of the industry was still not optimistic. Therefore, Cai Weici predicted that China machinery industry will go rising at first and may fall later in 2010.
