This week (from Feb. 20 to 26, 2010) was the first week after the spring festival and the bearing steel price was basically steady and is similar as that before the spring festival. Up to this weekend, the countrywide average price of GCr15 continuous casting non-annealed steel of 50mm was 5,168 Yuan/ton; the countrywide average price of GCr15 die-casting annealed steel of 100mm was 6,889yuan/ton. In east China area, the mainstream strike price of GCr15 medium continuous casting non-annealed steel was between 4,950 and 5,100 Yuan/ton; the mainstream price of continuous casting annealed steel was between 5,500 and 5,700 Yuan/ton. As the Spring Festival was just over, most down stream users haven’t started to purchase, the market deal was not much. It is predicted that the market deal will grow after the Lantern Festival. At present, the stock of the merchants keeps normal basically, the increase of stock during the Spring Festival was limited. For most merchants, there is no much pressure while currently they mainly work on the sale. On the aspect of steel plant, this week, there are several plants adjusted and increased the EXW of steel price in the range of 200 to 300 Yuan/ton. Dongbei Special Steel, Xinye Steel, Huarui Steel, Nanjng Steel and Changcheng Special Steel have increased the steel price in the range of 200 Yuan/ton. By this token, the market price may rise in some range in the following days.
[East China Region] This week the bearing steel price in East China market was basically steady; the deal was common. Up to this weekend, the quotation in Hangzhou market was as follows: Daye Nonferrous GCr15Φ50-70 non-annealed steel was 5,000 to 5,050yuan/ton; Xining Special Steel GCr15Φ30-75 heat treatment non-annealed steel was 4,950 to 5,000yuan/ton, out of stock; Shanghai No. 5 Steel Plant GCr15Φ26-70 heat treatment spheroidizing annealed steel was 6,700yuan/ton; Xingcheng Steel GCr15Φ50 non-annealed steel was 5,200 yuan/ton with a few stock; Nanjing Steel Group GCr15Φ16-40 heat treatment non-annealed steel was 4,950 yuan/ton; Dongbei Special Steel GCr15Φ30-95 heat treatment annealed steel was 5,650 yuan/ton; Shougang Group GCr15Φ50 hot rolled non annealed steel was 4,950 to 5000 yuan/ton. This week the bearing steel price in Wuxi market kept steady and the deal was common; Up to this weekend, the quotation in Wuxi market was as follows: Xingcheng Steel GCr15Φ30-75 hot rolled non annealed steel was 5,200 yuan/ton; Xingyegang Steel GCr15Φ30-50 continuous annealed steel was 5,500yuan/ton; Beiman Steel GCr15Φ40-75 heat treatment annealed steel was 5,650yuan/ton; Wuxi Huarun Steel GCr15Φ50-80 hot rolled non-annealed steel was from 5,050yuan/ton and the Φ50-80 annealed steel was 5,600yuan/ton, a few stock; Nanjing Steel GCr15Φ50 hot rolled non-annealed steel was 4,950yuan/ton; Bongbei Special Steel GCr15Φ40-75 hot rolled non-annealed steel was 5,100yuan/ton.
[Central South China Region] This week the bearing steel price in Luoyang was basically steady; the deal was common. Up to this weekend, the quotation in Luoyang market was as follows: Shougang Group GCr15Φ12-25 annealed steel was 5,600 yuan/ton and GCr15Φ24-50 non-annealed steel was 4,950yuan/ton; Xingyegang Steel GCr15Φ50-130 die-casting non-annealed steel was 6,750yuan/ton, out of stock; Changcheng Special Steel GCr15Φ45 continuous casting annealed steel was 5,700yuan/ton, out of stock; Shijiazhuang Steel GCr15Φ16-50 heat treatment annealed steel was 5,650yuan/ton; Xining Steel GCr15Φ25-70 continuous casting non-annealed steal was 4,950yuan/ton; Dongbei Special Steel GCr15Φ30-50 die casting annealed steel was 6,750yuan/ton; This week the bearing steel price in Wuhan market was steady and the deal was common, lacking of steel resource. [North China Region]This week the bearing steel price in Shenyang market was basically stable and the deal was common. Up to this weekend, Dongbei Special Steel GCr15Φ25-60 continuous casting non-annealed steel was 5,000yuan/ton, GCr15Φ35-50 die casting annealed steel was 6,650yuan/ton, GCr15Φ100 die casting non-annealed steel was 5,850yuan/ton; Dongbei Special Steel GCr15Φ25-40 continuous casting annealed steel was 5,750yuan/ton. This week the bearing steel price in Harbin market was stable and the deal was common. Benxi Steel GCr15Φ50-75 heat treatment annealed steel was 5,600yuan/ton, out of stock; Dalian Steel GCr15Φ50 heat treatment annealed steel was 5,600yuan/ton, out of stock; Dongbei Special Steel GCr15Φ40-75 continuous casting non-annealed steel was 5,050yuan/ton and GCr15Φ100 die casting annealed steel was 6,800yuan/ton.
[Southwest China Region]This week the bearing steel price in Chengdu market was stable and the steel resource was not sufficient and mainly was Changcheng steel and Xining steel. Up to this weekend, Changcheng Steel GCr15Φ100 die casting annealed steel was 6,600yuan/ton, die casting non-annealed steel was 5,750yuan/ton; Dongbei Special Steel GCr15Φ80-120 die casting annealed steel was 6,800, out of stock; Xining SteelΦ150-200 die casting annealed steel was 6,700yuan/ton, out of stock; Xining Steel GCr15Φ30-75 continuous casting annealed steel was 5,800yuan/ton, the steel resource was not sufficient. This week the bearing steel resource in Chongqing market was not sufficient, but the price was stable. Donghua Special Steel GCr15Φ20-30 heat treatment annealed steel was out of stock; Xining SteelΦ80-120 rolled annealing steel was 5,800yuan/ton, out of stock; part of Changcheng Steel GCr15Φ30-65 continuous casting non-annealed steel was 4,950yuan/ton, part of GCr15Φ30-65 continuous casting annealed steel was 5,750yuan/ton; Xining Steel Φ80-150 forged annealing steel was 6,700yuan/ton, the steel resource was not sufficient.
