This week (from Mar. 5th to 12th, 2010), the bearing steel price kept rising. Up to this weekend, the countrywide average price of GCr15 continuous casting non-annealed steel of 50mm was 5,364 yuan/ton, rising 100 yuan/ton to 150 yuan/ton compared with that in last weekend; the countrywide average price of GCr15 die-casting annealed steel of 100mm was 7,036yuan/ton. In east China area, the mainstream strike price of GCr15 medium continuous casting non-annealed steel was between 5,250 and 5,300 yuan/ton; the mainstream price of continuous casting annealed steel was between 5,600 and 5,850 yuan/ton. This week some steel plants have risen EXW price of the steel, in which Nanjing Steel Plant and Huaigang Steel have risen 100 yuan/ton; When the steel plants continuously rose the steel price, the steel traders also rose the price in succession. Judging from the market deal, it is not bad. The most important is that there was not much market resource and some types of steel was out of stock; In addition, the price of ordinary steel rose rapidly, which impelled the rising of some other special steel price. It is expected that the bearing steel price will keep rising in short term.

Up to this weekend, Changcheng Steel GCr15Φ100 die casting annealed steel was 6,750yuan/ton, die casting non-annealed steel was 5,900yuan/ton; Dongbei Special Steel GCr15Φ80-120 die casting annealed steel was 7,000, out of stock; Xining SteelΦ150-200 die casting annealed steel was 6,850yuan/ton, out of stock; Xining Steel GCr15Φ30-75 continuous casting annealed steel was 5,950yuan/ton, the steel resource was not sufficient. This week the bearing steel resource in Chongqing market was not sufficient, but the price of some bearing steel rose.
