“Large & Ultra Large Petroleum Machinery Bearing Development Project” Passed Inspection & Acceptance

Commissioned by the National Development and Reform Commission, the Economy and Information Commission of Ningxia has organized the relevant departments and experts and formed an inspection and acceptance committee. Recently, the committee has inspected the innovation capacity construction project of State-Accredited Enterprise Technology Center taken on by Xibei Bearing Co., Ltd. (NXZ). The committee was united in their conclusion that the project has achieved the anticipated aim and they agreed to accept the project.
The “Large & Ultra Large Petroleum Machinery Bearing Development Capacity Project” taken by Xibei Bearing is the innovation capacity construction project of State-Accredited Enterprise Technology Center approved by National Development and Reform Commission. The project was invested in 35.8069 million RMB, in which 5 million was national subsidy. Through the implementation of the project, the company has independently developed CAD (Computer-aided Design System) and CAPP (Computer-aided Process Planning System) of the bearing products and formed the PDM (Product Data Management System) integrated system, which optimized the product design, shorten two thirds of the product development period and built up the leading design development platform in the same domestic industry; through introducing the key large bearing precision process equipments and the CNC alteration of the original large equipments, the company improved the product manufacturing capacity and precision, which prolonged the service life of the products to the international level, achieved the integrated improvement of the design and manufacturing level of Chinese petroleum machinery bearings, built up the development base for the development of supporting bearings for petroleum machinery in China.
Through the construction project of the development capacity, Xibei Bearing became the flagship supplier of the domestic large and ultra large petroleum machinery bearings. The development of petroleum machinery bearings was in the leading position in the domestic industry, reached the international level and completely replaced the imported bearings. The main product of Xibei Bearing---petroleum bearing products took up above 90% market share in the petroleum machinery market and took up above 50% in the oil field maintenance market, which achieved obvious economic and social benefit.
