According to the analysis, the mildly rise of raw material price mainly has four reasons: 1. Entering the Spring Festival holiday, the domestic steel market continuously kept the basic balance situation. The output of the main steel enterprise in January and February has reduced on the basis of the former months; while the export was still high; 2. The contract of the steel plants was arranged smoothly and the stock was obviously reduced. Influenced by the drive, few of the resource in northern area entered into the southern market. The products of some brand were out of stock. 3. The price of the raw material, energy and freight rose, which impelled the rise of steel price to some extent; 4. The domestic steel plant and the traders kept steady mind; the stock was not abundant and the capital pressure was not great. Meanwhile, the demand rose after the Spring Festival because the market was not weak in the recession season. The prediction to the following period is optimistic and the steel price has the impulse to rise.
