This week (from Apr. 2nd to 9th, 2010), the bearing steel price kept rising while the increasing range was obviously smaller that the previous weeks. Up to this weekend, the countrywide average price of GCr15 continuous casting non-annealed steel of 50mm was 5, 837 Yuan/ton; the countrywide average price of GCr15 die-casting annealed steel of 100mm was 7,403 Yuan/ton, the rising range was close to 70 Yuan/ton compared with that at last weekend. In east China area, the mainstream strike price of GCr15 medium continuous casting non-annealed steel from the second-tier steel pants was between 5,800 and 5,850 Yuan/ton; the mainstream price of continuous casting annealed steel was 6,500 Yuan/ton. The market resource was generally not much and the specification was not complete. At present, the downstream users purchased according to the demand and there was basically not large order purchase. The market mentality was cautious; and as the rising of steel price, it’s hard to avoid the anxienty about the high price. However, the steel plants were relatively optimistic. It is predicted that the bearing steel price will keep steady next week.
Charging Market This Week: the domestic refined iron ore market generally presented a rising trend; the steel price in the North area, Eastern area nad central China area rose obviously; the steel price rose in the steady state in other regions. This week the imported ore market rose but the market deal was not good; This week the pig iron market kept the rising trend and the steel price rose completey in a large range in almost every region. The customer inquiries were active; the resource in the market was short while the general deal was not bad. This week the steel scrap marketkept steady; some steel plants has incresed the purchasing price according to the market price. The coke market ran well and the deal was good; the coke stock of the steel plant was still higher and the purchasing was not active; the price generally increased 50 Yuan. The alloy market was not even; the price of the ordinary alloy kept rising, in which the price of chromium alloy rose in the steady trend.
[East China Region] This week the bearing steel price in East China market kept rising; the deal was ordinary. Up to this weekend, the quotation in Hangzhou market was as follows: Daye Nonferrous GCr15Φ50-70 non-annealed steel was from 5,850 Yuan/ton; Xining Special Steel GCr15Φ30-75 heat treatment non-annealed steel was 5,800 Yuan/ton, out of stock; Shanghai No. 5 Steel Plant GCr15Φ26-70 heat treatment spheroidizing annealed steel was 7,200 Yuan/ton; Xingcheng Steel GCr15Φ50 non-annealed steel was 6,200 Yuan/ton with a few stock; Nanjing Steel Group GCr15Φ16-40 heat treatment non-annealed steel was 5,700 Yuan/ton; Dongbei Special Steel GCr15Φ30-95 heat treatment annealed steel was 6,500 Yuan/ton; Shougang Group GCr15Φ50 hot rolled non annealed steel was 5,700 Yuan/ton, out of stock. This week the bearing steel price in Wuxi market also rose; the market resource was not much and the deal was all right; Up to this weekend, the quotation in Wuxi market was as follows: Xingcheng Steel GCr15Φ30-75 hot rolled non annealed steel was 6,200 Yuan/ton with a few stock; Xingyegang Steel GCr15Φ30-50 continuous annealed steel was 6,400yuan/ton; Beiman Steel GCr15Φ40-75 heat treatment annealed steel was 6,500yuan/ton; Wuxi Huarun Steel GCr15Φ50-80 hot rolled non-annealed steel was from 5,850 Yuan/ton with a few stock and the Φ50-80 annealed steel was 6,300 Yuan/ton, out of stock; Nanjing Steel GCr15Φ50 hot rolled non-annealed steel was 5,700 Yuan/ton; Bongbei Special Steel GCr15Φ40-75 hot rolled non-annealed steel was 5,950 Yuan/ton.
[Central South China Region] This week the bearing steel price in Luoyang market rose; the deal was barely passable. Up to this weekend, the quotation in Luoyang market was as follows: Shougang Group GCr15Φ12-25 annealed steel was 6,300 Yuan/ton and GCr15Φ24-50 non-annealed steel was 5,650 Yuan/ton; Xingyegang Steel GCr15Φ50-130 die-casting non-annealed steel was 7,150 Yuan/ton, out of stock; Changcheng Special Steel GCr15Φ45 continuous casting annealed steel was 6,350yuan/ton, out of stock; Shijiazhuang Steel GCr15Φ16-50 heat treatment annealed steel was 6,350yuan/ton; Xining Steel GCr15Φ25-70 continuous casting non-annealed steal was 5,750 Yuan/ton; Dongbei Special Steel GCr15Φ30-50 die casting annealed steel was 7,150 Yuan/ton; This week the bearing steel price in Wuhan market rose in a small range and the deal was common, lacking of steel resource. [North China Region]This week the bearing steel price in Shenyang market rose a little and the deal was common. Up to this weekend, Dongbei Special Steel GCr15Φ25-60 continuous casting non-annealed steel was 5,700 Yuan/ton, GCr15Φ35-50 die casting annealed steel was 7,300 Yuan/ton, GCr15Φ100 die casting non-annealed steel was 6,450yuan/ton; Dongbei Special Steel GCr15Φ25-40 continuous casting annealed steel was 6,350yuan/ton. This week the bearing steel price in Harbin market rose a little and the deal was common. Benxi Steel GCr15Φ50-75 heat treatment annealed steel was 6,300 Yuan/ton, out of stock; Dalian Steel GCr15Φ50 heat treatment annealed steel was 6,400yuan/ton, out of stock; Dongbei Special Steel GCr15Φ40-75 continuous casting non-annealed steel was 5,600 Yuan/ton and GCr15Φ100 die casting annealed steel was 7,350 Yuan/ton.
[Southwest China Region]This week the price of bearing steel in Chengdu market was basically steady and the steel resource was not sufficient and mainly was Changcheng steel and Xining steel. Up to this weekend, Changcheng Steel GCr15Φ100 die casting annealed steel was 7,100 Yuan/ton, die casting non-annealed steel was 6,250 Yuan/ton; Dongbei Special Steel GCr15Φ80-120 die casting annealed steel was 7,450 Yuan/ton, out of stock; Xining SteelΦ150-200 die casting annealed steel was 7,200 Yuan/ton, out of stock; Xining Steel GCr15Φ30-75 continuous casting annealed steel was 6,300 Yuan/ton with a few stock. This week the bearing steel resource in Chongqing market was not sufficient, but the price of bearing steel was basically steady.
