LYC Company Made Achievements in "Megawatt Wind Turbine Bearing Development"

Recently, the Henan Provincial Important Technology Project--- “Megawatt Wind Turbine Bearing Development” project undertaken by LYC Bearing Company got on smoothly and received favorable achievements, which won the affirmation and appreciation of the Inspection Team of Henan Science and Technology Department. The project was proposed in the early 2009; after more than one year’s development, the members of the project team have cooperated with each other closely, overcome the difficulties, and solved the problem on the key technology such as the sealing structure and lubricant grease of megawatt wind turbine bearings, the special rail processing method and heat treatment technology, special cage design and processing method, etc., grasped the design and processing technology of megawatt wind turbine bearings, and formed a batch of technology and products that owns independent intellectual property right. Up to the end of March, the project has finished the development of wind power yaw, variable pitch, spindle bearings and variable pitch tester and finished the test of the performance of bearing bench and temperature increasing. At present, the project is carrying out the development of the testers for spindle bearings and gear box bearings.
