This week (from Apr. 9th to 16th, 2010), the bearing steel price rose in some areas in small range and became steady in the anaphase. Up to this weekend, the countrywide average price of GCr15 continuous casting non-annealed steel of 50mm was 5, 950 Yuan/ton, which increased about 100 Yuan compared with that in last week; the countrywide average price of GCr15 die-casting annealed steel of 100mm was 7,446 Yuan/ton, there was not much change compared with that at last weekend. At present, in east China area, the mainstream strike price of GCr15 medium continuous casting non-annealed steel from the second-tier steel pants was 5,950 Yuan/ton; the mainstream price of continuous casting annealed steel was between 6,500 and 6,600 Yuan/ton. The market resource was generally not much and the specification was not complete; the market deal was common. At present, the downstream users purchased according to the demand. The market mentality was generally steady; and as the rising of steel price, it’s hard to avoid the anxiety about the high price. However, the production of the steel plants was relatively good. As the increase of raw material price, the bearing steel price will possibly rise. In short term, the bearing steel market will possibly run steadily.
Charging Market This Week: the domestic refined iron ore market generally presented a rising trend; the imported ore market continuously kept the rising trend and the price of each kind of product at the port rose obviously. The pig iron market was relatively passable; influenced by the continuous slide of steel billets, the steel traders were worried about the high price; while there was no obvious change in the general trend; the steel quotation in some area was still rising. The steel resource with high quotation presented low deal and the wait-and-see atmosphere became stronger. Generally, the situation in south are is better than that in north area. The steel scrap market rose in the steady trend; the steel plants in Jiangsu area have increased the purchasing price in succession, influenced by the rising of Shagang steel last week. The coke market ran well and the coke plants were active to receive the orders; the strike price generally rose. tThe alloy market was not even; the price of the ordinary alloy kept rising, in which the price of chromium alloy rose in the steady trend.
[East China Region] This week the bearing steel price in East China market rose in the steady trend; the deal was common. Up to this weekend, the quotation in Hangzhou market was as follows: Daye Nonferrous GCr15Φ50-70 non-annealed steel was from 5,950 Yuan/ton; Xining Special Steel GCr15Φ30-75 heat treatment non-annealed steel was 5,900 Yuan/ton, out of stock; Shanghai No. 5 Steel Plant GCr15Φ26-70 heat treatment spheroidizing annealed steel was 7,200 Yuan/ton; Xingcheng Steel GCr15Φ50 non-annealed steel was 6,300 Yuan/ton with a few stock; Nanjing Steel Group GCr15Φ16-40 heat treatment non-annealed steel was 5,800 Yuan/ton; Dongbei Special Steel GCr15Φ30-95 heat treatment annealed steel was 6,600 Yuan/ton; Shougang Group GCr15Φ50 hot rolled non annealed steel was 5,900 Yuan/ton, out of stock. This week the bearing steel price in Wuxi market also rose; the market resource was not much and the deal was all right; Up to this weekend, the quotation in Wuxi market was as follows: Xingcheng Steel GCr15Φ30-75 hot rolled non annealed steel was 6,300 Yuan/ton with a few stock; Xingyegang Steel GCr15Φ30-50 continuous annealed steel was 6,500yuan/ton; Beiman Steel GCr15Φ40-75 heat treatment annealed steel was 6,600yuan/ton; Wuxi Huarun Steel GCr15Φ50-80 hot rolled non-annealed steel was from 6,000 Yuan/ton with a few stock and the Φ50-80 annealed steel was 6,450 Yuan/ton, out of stock; Nanjing Steel GCr15Φ50 hot rolled non-annealed steel was 5,800 Yuan/ton; Bongbei Special Steel GCr15Φ40-75 hot rolled non-annealed steel was 6,050 Yuan/ton.
[Central South China Region] This week the bearing steel price in Luoyang market was basically steady; the deal was barely passable. Up to this weekend, the quotation in Luoyang market was as follows: Shougang Group GCr15Φ12-25 annealed steel was between 6,250 and 6,300 Yuan/ton and GCr15Φ24-50 non-annealed steel was between 5,650 and 5,700 Yuan/ton; Xingyegang Steel GCr15Φ50-130 die-casting non-annealed steel was 7,150 Yuan/ton, out of stock; Changcheng Special Steel GCr15Φ45 continuous casting annealed steel was 6,350yuan/ton, out of stock; Shijiazhuang Steel GCr15Φ16-50 heat treatment annealed steel was 6,350yuan/ton; Xining Steel GCr15Φ25-70 continuous casting non-annealed steal was 5,700 Yuan/ton; Dongbei Special Steel GCr15Φ30-50 die casting annealed steel was 7,150 Yuan/ton; This week the bearing steel price in part of Wuhan market rose in a small range and in most areas in it kept steady; the deal was common, lacking of steel resource. [North China Region]This week the bearing steel price in most of Shenyang markets kept steady and the deal was common. Up to this weekend, Dongbei Special Steel GCr15Φ25-60 continuous casting non-annealed steel was 5,800 Yuan/ton, GCr15Φ35-50 die casting annealed steel was 7,300 Yuan/ton, GCr15Φ100 die casting non-annealed steel was 6,550yuan/ton; Dongbei Special Steel GCr15Φ25-40 continuous casting annealed steel was 6,450yuan/ton. This week the bearing steel price in most Harbin markets kept steady and the deal was common. Benxi Steel GCr15Φ50-75 heat treatment annealed steel was 6,400 Yuan/ton, out of stock; Dalian Steel GCr15Φ50 heat treatment annealed steel was 6,500yuan/ton, out of stock; Dongbei Special Steel GCr15Φ40-75 continuous casting non-annealed steel was 5,800 Yuan/ton and GCr15Φ100 die casting annealed steel was 7,350 Yuan/ton.
[Southwest China Region]This week the price of bearing steel in Chengdu market was basically steady and the steel resource was not sufficient and mainly was Changcheng steel and Xining steel. Up to this weekend, Changcheng Steel GCr15Φ100 die casting annealed steel was 7,100 Yuan/ton, and the price of non-annealed forging materials was 6,600 Yuan/ton; Dongbei Special Steel GCr15Φ80-120 die casting annealed steel was 7,450 Yuan/ton, out of stock; Xining SteelΦ150-200 die casting annealed steel was 7,200 Yuan/ton, out of stock; Xining Steel GCr15Φ30-75 continuous casting annealed steel was 6,350 Yuan/ton with a few stock. This week the bearing steel resource in Chongqing market was not sufficient; part of bearing steel price rose in a small range.
