Qingdao Custom: Seized 400,000 sets of Property Right Violating Bearings (Picture)
During the “World Intellectual Property Day”, the delegation of World Bearing Association (WBA) came to Qingdao Custom and expressed their gratitude to the Custom for the efforts in cracking down on the property right violating bearings and protecting the famous bearings brands of each country including China; discussed about the intellectual property protection of bearing products.
Yang Luping, the director of Statute Department of Qingdao Custom introduced that in recent years, Qingdao Custom has started the special action to crack down on the property right violating bearings. Since 2007, the Custom has seized 23 cases of violating bearings and more than 400,000 sets of bearings were involved with the total value of 3.3 million yuan, covering famous brands home and abroad like KF, FAG, NSK, NTN, KG and FK, etc.
Doctor Andres from WBA thought that Qingdao Custom has made great contribution on the aspect of protecting the intellectual property right of bearing products and was significant in keeping the international trade of bearings products in order.
