This week (from Apr. 23rd to 30th , 2010), the bearing steel price in most regions kept steady and only a few of regions rose within a small range. Up to this weekend, the countrywide average price of GCr15 continuous casting non-annealed steel of 50mm was 5, 993 Yuan/ton; the countrywide average price of GCr15 die-casting annealed steel of 100mm was 7,482 Yuan/ton, rising compared with that at last weekend. At present, in east China area, the mainstream strike price of GCr15 medium continuous casting non-annealed steel from the second-tier steel pants was between 6,000 and 6,050 Yuan/ton; the mainstream price of continuous casting annealed steel was 6,650 Yuan/ton. Generally, the market deal was barely passable while the market resource was not much. Recently, the price of fine steel was adjusted to low level and the price was relatively confusing. In east China area, the 45# carbon steel price of part of the merchants has dropped to 4,700 Yuan/ton. The price difference between bearing steel and carbon steel was enlarged to 1,300 Yuan/ton. In the following period, the risk will be larger. At present, the merchants keep as low stock as possible. The steel plants keep the attitude of wait-and-see. The bearing steel price will be steady in short term.
[East China Region] This week the bearing steel price in part of the East China market rose with a few of resource; the deal was good. Up to this weekend, the quotation in Hangzhou market was as follows: Daye Nonferrous GCr15Φ50-70 non-annealed steel was from 6,150 Yuan/ton, out of stock; Xining Special Steel GCr15Φ30-75 heat treatment non-annealed steel was 6,000 Yuan/ton, out of stock; Shanghai No. 5 Steel Plant GCr15Φ26-70 heat treatment spheroidizing annealed steel was 7,200 Yuan/ton; Xingcheng Steel GCr15Φ50 non-annealed steel was 6,500 Yuan/ton, out of stock; Nanjing Steel Group GCr15Φ16-40 heat treatment non-annealed steel was from 5,900 to 6,000 Yuan/ton; Dongbei Special Steel GCr15Φ30-95 heat treatment annealed steel was 6,700 Yuan/ton; Shougang Group GCr15Φ50 hot rolled non annealed steel was 6,000 Yuan/ton, out of stock. This week the bearing steel price in a few Wuxi market rose; the market resource was not much and the deal was all right; Up to this weekend, the quotation in Wuxi market was as follows: Xingcheng Steel GCr15Φ30-75 hot rolled non annealed steel was 6,500 Yuan/ton with a few stock; Xingyegang Steel GCr15Φ30-50 continuous annealed steel was 6,600yuan/ton; Beiman Steel GCr15Φ40-75 heat treatment annealed steel was 6,700yuan/ton; Wuxi Huarun Steel GCr15Φ50-80 hot rolled non-annealed steel was from 6,100 Yuan/ton with a few stock and the Φ50-80 annealed steel was 6,550 Yuan/ton, out of stock; Nanjing Steel GCr15Φ50 hot rolled non-annealed steel was 6,000 Yuan/ton; Bongbei Special Steel GCr15Φ40-75 hot rolled non-annealed steel was 6,200 Yuan/ton.
[Central South China Region] This week the bearing steel price in a few Luoyang market rose with in a small range; the deal was barely passable. Up to this weekend, the quotation in Luoyang market was as follows: Shougang Group GCr15Φ12-25 annealed steel was 6,300 Yuan/ton and GCr15Φ24-50 non-annealed steel was 5,750 Yuan/ton; Xingyegang Steel GCr15Φ50-130 die-casting non-annealed steel was 7,250 Yuan/ton, out of stock; Changcheng Special Steel GCr15Φ45 continuous casting annealed steel was 6,400yuan/ton, out of stock; Shijiazhuang Steel GCr15Φ16-50 heat treatment annealed steel was 6,400yuan/ton; Xining Steel GCr15Φ25-70 continuous casting non-annealed steal was 5,800 Yuan/ton; Dongbei Special Steel GCr15Φ30-50 die casting annealed steel was 7,200 Yuan/ton; This week the bearing steel price in Wuhan market kept stable and the deal was common, lacking of steel resource. [North China Region] This week the bearing steel price in Shenyang market kept steady and the deal was common. Up to this weekend, Dongbei Special Steel GCr15Φ25-60 continuous casting non-annealed steel was 5,800 Yuan/ton, GCr15Φ35-50 die casting annealed steel was 7,300 Yuan/ton, GCr15Φ100 die casting non-annealed steel was 6,550yuan/ton; Dongbei Special Steel GCr15Φ25-40 continuous casting annealed steel was 6,450yuan/ton. This week the bearing steel price in Harbin market was basically steady and the deal was common. Benxi Steel GCr15Φ50-75 heat treatment annealed steel was 6,400 Yuan/ton, out of stock; Dalian Steel GCr15Φ50 heat treatment annealed steel was 6,500yuan/ton, out of stock; Dongbei Special Steel GCr15Φ40-75 continuous casting non-annealed steel was 5,800 Yuan/ton and GCr15Φ100 die casting annealed steel was 7,350 Yuan/ton.
[Southwest China Region]This week the price of bearing steel in Chengdu market was basically steady and the steel resource was not sufficient and mainly was Changcheng steel and Xining steel. Up to this weekend, Changcheng Steel GCr15Φ100 die casting annealed steel was 7,100 Yuan/ton, die casting non-annealed steel was 6,600 Yuan/ton; Dongbei Special Steel GCr15Φ80-120 die casting annealed steel was 7,450 Yuan/ton, out of stock; Xining SteelΦ150-200 die casting annealed steel was 7,200 Yuan/ton, out of stock; Xining Steel GCr15Φ30-75 continuous casting annealed steel was 6,350 Yuan/ton with a few stock. This week the bearing steel resource in Chongqing market was not sufficient, but the price of bearing steel was basically steady. Donghua Special Steel GCr15Φ20-30 heat treatment annealed steel was out of stock; Xining SteelΦ80-120 rolled annealing steel was 6,500 Yuan/ton, out of stock; part of Changcheng Steel GCr15Φ30-65 continuous casting non-annealed steel was 5,850 Yuan/ton, part of GCr15Φ30-65 continuous casting annealed steel was 6,450 Yuan/ton; Xining Steel Φ80-150 forged annealing steel was 7,250 Yuan/ton, the steel resource was not sufficient.
