This week (from May 21st to May 28th, 2010), the bearing steel price in some regions fell, mainly embodied on the hot rolled non-annealed material and there was no difference on the annealed material price. Up to this weekend, the countrywide average price of GCr15 continuous casting non-annealed steel of 50mm was 5,918 yuan/ton; the countrywide average price of GCr15 die-casting annealed steel of 100mm was 7,482 yuan/ton. In east China area, the mainstream strike price of GCr15 medium continuous casting non-annealed steel of 100mm of the second tier plants was 5,800 yuan/ton, fell about 150 yuan/ton compared with that in last weekend; the mainstream price of continuous casting annealed steel was around 6,600 yuan/ton. This week the market deal fell compare with that in last week; the atmosphere of wait-and-see in the market was very strong and most downstream users purchased according to the demand; the order of the traders decrease, either. On the aspect of steel plants, some steel plants decreased the EXW price of the bearing steel secretly with the range from 100 to 200 yuan/ton. It is predicted that next week the bearing market will keep the weak trend. The bearing steel price in some regions has space to fall.
Charging Market This Week: the domestic refined iron ore market kept the weak trend; the market in north China region has a little dull and the south region market has a little dip. The market inquiry obviously went weak compared with that in the former period and generally the market deal was not ideal. The atmosphere of wait-and-see from both the providers and the buyers became stronger. The imported ore market generally kept steady and the quotation of some steel types fell. The pig iron market was still in the downturn without any improvement; the price was still on falling trend and the market deal was thin; the stock of the plants kept the rising trend and capital return was relatively difficult. Following the felling situation in last week, the steel scrap market continued the weak trend. The coke market was generally weak, the situation in most regions fell with the range from 50 to 100 yuan. The alloy market was going weak; the price of the ordinary alloy went weak; the price of chromium alloy was easy off.

This week the some of the bearing steel price in Wuxi market fell; the market resource was insufficient and the deal was common; Up to this weekend, the quotation in Wuxi market was as follows: Xingcheng Steel GCr15Φ30-75 hot rolled non annealed steel was 6,400 yuan/ton with a few of stock; Xingyegang Steel GCr15Φ30-50 continuous annealed steel was 6,600yuan/ton; Beiman Steel GCr15Φ40-75 heat treatment annealed steel was 6,600yuan/ton; Wuxi Huarun Steel GCr15Φ50-80 hot rolled non-annealed steel was from5,850yuan/ton with a few of stock and the Φ50-80 annealed steel was 6,400yuan/ton, out of stock; Nanjing Steel GCr15Φ50 hot rolled non-annealed steel was 5,750yuan/ton; Bongbei Special Steel GCr15Φ40-75 hot rolled non-annealed steel was 6,000yuan/ton.
[Central South China Region] This week some of the bearing steel price in Luoyang fell; the deal was common. Up to this weekend, the quotation in Luoyang market was as follows: Shougang Group GCr15Φ12-25 annealed steel was 6,300 yuan/ton and GCr15Φ24-50 non-annealed steel was 5,600yuan/ton; Xingyegang Steel GCr15Φ50-130 die-casting non-annealed steel was 7,250yuan/ton, out of stock; Changcheng Special Steel GCr15Φ45 continuous casting annealed steel was 6,400yuan/ton, out of stock; Shijiazhuang Steel GCr15Φ16-50 heat treatment annealed steel was 6,400yuan/ton; Xining Steel GCr15Φ25-70 continuous casting non-annealed steal was 5,850yuan/ton; Dongbei Special Steel GCr15Φ30-50 die casting annealed steel was 7,200yuan/ton. Up to this weekend, Dongbei Special Steel GCr15Φ25-60 continuous casting non-annealed steel was 5,800yuan/ton, GCr15Φ35-50 die casting annealed steel was 7,300yuan/ton, GCr15Φ100 die casting non-annealed steel was 6,550yuan/ton; Dongbei Special Steel GCr15Φ25-40 continuous casting annealed steel was 6,450yuan/ton. This week the bearing steel price in Harbin market was basically stable and the deal was common. Benxi Steel GCr15Φ50-75 heat treatment annealed steel was 6,400yuan/ton, out of stock; Dalian Steel GCr15Φ50 heat treatment annealed steel was 6,500yuan/ton, out of stock; Dongbei Special Steel GCr15Φ40-75 continuous casting non-annealed steel was 5,800yuan/ton and GCr15Φ100 die casting annealed steel was 7,350yuan/ton.
[Southwest China Region]This week the price of bearing steel in Chengdu market was basically stable and the steel resource was not sufficient and mainly was Changcheng steel and Xining steel. Up to this weekend, Changcheng Steel GCr15Φ100 die casting annealed steel was 7,100 yuan/ton, die casting non-annealed steel was 6,600 yuan/ton; Dongbei Special Steel GCr15Φ80-120 die casting annealed steel was 7,450 yuan/ton, out of stock; Xining SteelΦ150-200 die casting annealed steel was 7,200 yuan/ton, out of stock; Xining Steel GCr15Φ30-75 continuous casting annealed steel was 6,350 yuan/ton with a few of stock. This week the bearing steel resource in Chongqing market was not sufficient, but the price was basically stable.
