Kaman Says Subsidiary President T. Jack Cahill will Retire at the End of August

Kaman Corp., which distributes bearings and other products, said Wednesday it T. Jack Cahill, president of its subsidiary Kaman Industrial Technologies Corp., will retire at the end of August. Steven J. Smidler, currently senior vice president and chief operating officer, will replace him. Cahill was named president 17 years ago and has worked for Kaman for 35 years. Shares of the company rose 18 cents to $23.62 in early afternoon trading.
