Liaoning St. Gallen Automobile Parts Manufacturing Co., Ltd. is the key auto parts enterprise in Tieling County. The company started the production in November last year, mainly supplying supporting products to FAW-VW Automobile Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Volkswagen. Some products are exported to Germany. After the company started the production, they found their production capacity was not enough. Facing the increasing orders, they can not meet the demand even though the workers have worked on shift. The booming production and orders of St. Gallen Company is the miniature of the rapid development of auto parts industry in Tieling County. At present, the auto parts industry in Tieling County shows the cluster effect. Some enterprises can purchase the manufacturing material in the industry zone, instead of striving for materials from the southern area. In 2009, the production value of the 30 auto parts and the relevant enterprises in Tieling County was 5 billion yuan. This year the relevant department has set up the production value aim of 10 billion yuan.
