SKF continues its successful roll-out of SKF Solution Factories and today inaugurated the SKF Solution Factory in Montigny, France. SKF Solution Factory is a concept that brings together not only SKF's entire service offering, but also the company's five technical platforms: bearings, seals, services, lubrication and mechatronics. The benefits for the customer are customized solutions and developments in their plant and/or machinery, making it more reliable, cost-effective and safe. The SKF Solution Factories are strategically placed in areas where customers have easy access and gain direct value in having SKF's competencies and core technologies gathered in one location. - We expect that this SKF Solution Factory will quickly become a key destination for customers striving to increase overall asset efficiency, reliability and productivity, says, Benoit de Dorlodot, SKF Service Division Sales Unit Manager in France. - We opened the first SKF Solution Factory over 18 months ago and we are now represented with this concept in key industrial regions all over the world. Customers from around the globe are informing us of the many benefits and extra value that are given to them through this set-up, says Vartan Vartanian, SKF Service Division President.
