Lucheng Industry and Commerce Administration Seized Counterfeit Bearings

Recently, Lucheng Industry and Commerce Administration in Wenzhou received the complaint from Harbin Bearing Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (HRB) that a bearing store on Liuhong Bridge Road in Lucheng District has stocked a large quantity of counterfeit “HRB” bearings. The staff of the administration has taken a surprise inspection on this store. On the spot, the law enforcement staff found out more than 19,000 sets of counterfeit “HRB” bearings. Mr. Yan, the litigant explained that he has purchased about 20,000 sets of counterfeit”HRB” bearings from a salesman of a branch of Harbin Bearing Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (HRB) in January this year and sold until now. In additional, the staff also found out more than 10,000 sets of bearings with the trademark of “YHY” and marked “ MADE IN JAPAN”. Yan explained that “YHY” bearings were his own and he marked “ MADE IN JAPAN” for expanding the sale. After the preliminary investigation, the value of the counterfeit was about 100,000 yuan; the value of the bearings with counterfeit marks was about 90,000 yuan. At present, the involved bearings were sequestrated by the industry and commerce administration department. The case is still under investigation.
