This week (from June 18th to June 25th, 2010), the bearing steel price fell obviously. Up to this weekend, the countrywide average price of GCr15 continuous casting non-annealed steel of 50mm was 5,753 yuan/ton; the countrywide average price of GCr15 die-casting annealed steel of 100mm was 7,435 yuan/ton. In east China area, the mainstream strike price of GCr15 medium continuous casting non-annealed steel of 100mm of the second tier plants was from 5,400 to 5,500 yuan/ton; the mainstream price of continuous casting annealed steel was from 6,200 to 6,300 yuan/ton, which obviously fell compared with that in last week. This week the market deal was relatively weak and most downstream users still held the wait-and-see attitude; the purchase volume was small. In addition, the steel plant had greater pressure and the steel price is possbile to reduce to some extent. At present, the market resource is tended to increase. In short term, it is hard to change the weak situation in the bearing steel market.
Charging Market This Week: the domestic refined iron ore market kept the weak trend; the general market inquiry and deal both became weak. The providers and buyers still held the wait-and-see attitude. The week the imported ore market went weak generally and the inquiry was less. The pig iron market kept going weakly and the steel price in some regions fell while in small range; the general deal didn’t straighten up; the stock of the plants was still high; the iron plant participated in the queue of downtime in succession. The steel scrap market general kept running weakly while the falling trend was obvious. The coke market fell weakly; the plants restricted purchasing and kept the stock. The ordinary alloy price went weak and the chrome alloy market fell in small range.
[East China Region] This week the price of bearing steel in East China market kept falling; the deal was common. Up to this weekend, the quotation in Hangzhou market was as follows: Daye Nonferrous GCr15Φ50-70 non-annealed steel was 5,450 yuan/ton, out of stock; Xining Special Steel GCr15Φ30-75 heat treatment non-annealed steel was 5,400yuan/ton, out of stock; Shanghai No. 5 Steel Plant GCr15Φ26-70 heat treatment spheroidizing annealed steel was 6,900yuan/ton; Xingcheng Steel GCr15Φ50 non-annealed steel was 5,900 yuan/ton, out of stock; Nanjing Steel Group GCr15Φ16-40 heat treatment non-annealed steel was 5,400 yuan/ton; Dongbei Special Steel GCr15Φ30-95 heat treatment annealed steel was 6,300 yuan/ton; Shougang Group GCr15Φ50 hot rolled non annealed steel was 5,400 yuan/ton, out of stock. This week the bearing steel price in Wuxi market fell at the same; the market deal was common; Up to this weekend, the quotation in Wuxi market was as follows: Xingcheng Steel GCr15Φ30-75 hot rolled non annealed steel was 6,000 yuan/ton with a few of stock; Xingyegang Steel GCr15Φ30-50 continuous annealed steel was 6,250yuan/ton; Beiman Steel GCr15Φ40-75 heat treatment annealed steel was from 6,300 yuan/ton; Wuxi Huarun Steel GCr15Φ50-80 hot rolled non-annealed steel was from 5,550 yuan/ton with a few of stock and the Φ50-80 annealed steel was 6,300yuan/ton, out of stock; Nanjing Steel GCr15Φ50 hot rolled non-annealed steel was 5,450yuan/ton; Bongbei Special Steel GCr15Φ40-75 hot rolled non-annealed steel was 5,600 yuan/ton.
[Central South China Region] This week the bearing steel price in Luoyang fell within small range; the deal was weak. Up to this weekend, the quotation in Luoyang market was as follows: Shougang Group GCr15Φ12-25 annealed steel was 6,200 yuan/ton and GCr15Φ24-50 non-annealed steel was 5,450yuan/ton; Xingyegang Steel GCr15Φ50-130 die-casting non-annealed steel was 7,250yuan/ton, out of stock; Changcheng Special Steel GCr15Φ45 continuous casting annealed steel was 6,300yuan/ton, out of stock; Shijiazhuang Steel GCr15Φ16-50 heat treatment annealed steel was 6,300yuan/ton; Xining Steel GCr15Φ25-70 continuous casting non-annealed steal was 5,550yuan/ton; Dongbei Special Steel GCr15Φ30-50 die casting annealed steel was 7,200yuan/ton. [North China Region]This week the bearing steel price in Shenyang market was basically stable and the deal was common. Up to this weekend, Dongbei Special Steel GCr15Φ25-60 continuous casting non-annealed steel was 5,800yuan/ton, GCr15Φ35-50 die casting annealed steel was 7,300yuan/ton, GCr15Φ100 die casting non-annealed steel was 6,550yuan/ton; Dongbei Special Steel GCr15Φ25-40 continuous casting annealed steel was 6,450yuan/ton. This week the bearing steel price in Harbin market was basically stable and the deal was common. Benxi Steel GCr15Φ50-75 heat treatment annealed steel was 6,350yuan/ton, out of stock; Dongbei Special Steel GCr15Φ50 heat treatment annealed steel was 6,400yuan/ton, out of stock; Dongbei Special Steel GCr15Φ40-75 continuous casting non-annealed steel was 5,800yuan/ton and GCr15Φ100 die casting annealed steel was 7,350yuan/ton.
[Southwest China Region]This week the price of bearing steel in Chengdu market was basically stable and the steel resource was not sufficient and mainly was Changcheng steel and Xining steel. Up to this weekend, Changcheng Steel GCr15Φ100 die casting annealed steel was 7,100 yuan/ton, die casting non-annealed steel was 6,600 yuan/ton; Dongbei Special Steel GCr15Φ80-120 die casting annealed steel was 7,450 yuan/ton, out of stock; Xining SteelΦ150-200 die casting annealed steel was 7,200 yuan/ton, out of stock; Xining Steel GCr15Φ30-75 continuous casting annealed steel was 6,350 yuan/ton with a few of stock. This week the bearing steel resource in Chongqing market was not sufficient, but the price of part steel fell. Donghua Special Steel GCr15Φ20-30 heat treatment annealed steel was out of stock; Xining SteelΦ80-120 rolled annealing steel was 6,500yuan/ton, out of stock; part of Changcheng Steel GCr15Φ30-65 continuous casting non-annealed steel was 5,700 yuan/ton, part of GCr15Φ30-65 continuous casting annealed steel was 6,200 yuan/ton; Xining Steel Φ80-150 forged annealing steel was 7,250 yuan/ton, the steel resource was not sufficient.
