Replace Foreign Fittings, Chinese Bearings Show Up

Recently, Tahe County 2nd Plant of SINOPEC Northeast Oil and Gas Company have carried out technological reformation to improve the pump bearing of T7-444 sump oil treatment station and replace the imported fittings with the localized products. After one month’s continuous running, the localized bearing has ensured the steady production requirement and also reduced the maintenance cost. T7-444 sump oil treatment station is mainly responsible for the assembly treatment of acid sump oil from the new wells and working wells of Tahe County 2nd Plant and transforming it into purging oil. In May this year , the station has carried out energy-saving reformation by delivering the polluted water to affusion network. While mechanical seal leakage happened continuously for twice on the four grade centrifugal pump, which not only influenced the normal production, but also increase the machinery maintenance cost. Through solving the problems with the technicians from Tianda Pump Company, they discovered the sticking point of the problem. As the pump is the stand-by pump found from warehouse many years before, even though the output and lift met the processing requirement, the frequent “Shaft Shift” caused the mechanical seal leakage and therefore influenced the steady running of production . Their brave reformation by replacing the imported fittings which cost 1.700 yuan with the localized 6306 bearing, prolonged the application periond of the mechanical seal and saved the maintenance cost.
