LYC Together with NTN to Produce the World's Most Advanced Wheel Hub Bearings

(October 11, 2010) Luoyang Bearing Co., Ltd is one of the three major bearing production bases in China; and NTN is a large Japanese company whose world bearing market share ranks third. In the morning of October 11, LYC signed the joint venture contract with NTN to construct the world's most advanced wheel hub bearing & needle roller bearing plant in Luoyang. NTN ranks first in the field of automotive wheel hub bearings in the world, meanwhile it is the world's second largest constant velocity universal joint (key components of automobile drive series) manufacturer. The registered capital of NTN is 54.3 billion yen, with 18,000 employees in the worldwide. LYC company together with the world's well-known bearing company NTN to build NTN & LYC (Luoyang) Precision Bearing Co., Ltd in Luoyang. The total investment of the fixed assets in this new company is 0.174 billion dollars, and the company specializes in the production of the high quality's second & third generation wheel hub bearing units, and needle roller bearings used in the gearboxes. It is reported that this new company plans to produce 50 million sets bearings annually, and expects to provide products to the domestic & foreign customers in 2012. Then it will become the world's most advanced wheel hub bearing & needle roller bearing manufacturing plant, which can meet the localization requirment of key parts in China's automotive industry.
