Baogang Bar Plant Successfully Rolled the High Value-added Bearing Steel and Steel for Gear

According to the news from Baogang Group on November 16, the high production line in the bar plant has successfully rolled the 8 mm &10 mm diameter GCr15 bearing steel and the 12.5 mm SWRH82B rolled steel wire by using the 180 mm diameter continuous cast round billet, a total of 458 tons; the bar production line has also successfully rolled the 60 mm、75 mm、80 mm、85 mm、90 mm diameter 20CrMnTiH steel for gear, a total of 1,076 tons, which has solved the difficult processing problem that the high value-added bar products have to be produced by rolling in the second heating through the rail beam. Up to October 15, 2010, the bar plant has successfully developed bearing steel、 sucker rod steel、 SWRH82B rolled steel wire、 easy-cutting steel、 low cost thread steel and many other new varieties, the output could reach 376,600 tons. And the sucker rod steel produced by the bar plant has been listed among the well-known products series in Baogang Group.
