SHRN Steel Laiwu Special Steel Co., Ltd Successfully Made the Trial Production of High-grade 55SiMoV Bearing Steel

Recently, SHRN Steel Laiwu Speicial Steel Co., Ltd has successfully made the trial production of high-grade 55iMoV bearing steel. Totally produced five furnaces, and each indicator could under the control after been tested, meanwhile the electric furnace smelting also achieved phosphorus control. This year, Laiwu Special Steel Co., Ltd will actively implement gear bearing upgrading and key bearing steel revitalization projects、further improve CrMo & CrNiMo high-grade gear steel varieties in accordance with the detailed development requirment, thus to build the domestic excellent gear steel base, meanwhile to further consolidate & enhance the market competitiveness for both gear steel and bearing steel. It is understood that this new type of steel is a kind of medium carbon steel with the advantages of high hardenability、high strength & toughness and wear-resisting, which is mainly used for manufacturing turbine drilling. Laiwu Special Steel Co., Ltd made the detailed program with the technical researching & developing center from the raw material into the furnace to rolling into the finished product, besides, they made baking & drying process for all the raw material used in the steel making, such as, lime、fluorite、alloy, etc. At the same time, they also implemented optimization for molten iron additive amount、water distribution model and so on. The VD vacuum degassing for molten steel could ensure the successful development of this new type of steel, which is also the first new type of steel developed by Laiwu Special Steel Co., Ltd in this year.
