Who will benefit most from high speed train development？
The development of high-speed train stimulates the related shares such as train equipments and capital construction. The deep study shows that the so-called high speed train share companies can not produce the relevant parts even in next few years.
High-speed train development offers great opportunities for China rail bearings, the insiders predict. However, the Finacial Week Paper’s survey showed that the high speed train bearing supply was occupied firmly by international giants such as Swedish SKF, German FAG, Japanese NTN.
Today the machinery basic parts become the restrictive factor for China manufacturing high-end development. According to the related planning, during the next National Twelfth Five-Year Plan period, the Chinese government will continue to support high-end equipment components production and improve the localization rate of them up to 80%.
None of national manufacturer has the production capability of high speed rail bearings now.
The researchers said that the high-speed train bearing still rely entirely on import, and in the next fives years to realized the localization may be delayed.
Bearing is the key part for the important national technique equipments. Till now, China bearing industry is weak in bearings for automobile, high-speed rail and precision machine tool. As China bearing industry development can not keep up with that of foreign countries , bearing importing has been greatly driven . For example the bearings for bullet train which run more than 200km per hour all depend on imported ones.
Chinese bearings have some gaps in performance and cost effectiveness, high precision, low noise, longevity and high reliability compared with world leading companies .Up till now the bearing for passenger train running more than 160km an hour all depend on import. So, to gain the national market through improving techniques has become the realistic issue for China train bearing development.
