Beijing Allocated Funds to Support Wind Turbine Bearings & Extra-large Bearings Construction

Recently, Beijing Municipal Commission of Economy & Information Technology and Beijing Finance Bureau has given high priority for Jing Ye 2.5 MW wind turbine bearing and extra large bearing production base project, meanwhile after conscientious examination & verification, the relevant responsible departments issued document that listed this project among Beijing Industrial Development Fund Grants Projects. This project has 25,700 square meters'new levy construction land and 18,400 square meters' bearing researching & developing、manufacturing plant, and also equipped with some advanced equipment & testing equipment. The prophase construction of this new production base has started, after it has completely finished, this base will further promote the laser surface treatment technology in the application of fan bearings & extra-large bearings; promote localization process of 2.5 MW wind turbine bearing; helpful to reduce high-power wind turbine manufacturing cost & savings; conducive to environmental protection, energy saving and emission reduction; helpful to improve effectiveness, thus to form a good posture for sustained development. Now the project has completely implemented for ensure the production capacity could form before December, 2011.
