Recently American Bureau of Shipping (ABS ) has approved the application of Certification for Forging Steel Plant from Dalian Metallurgical Bearing Company. The certification was issued through many rigorous procedures. Firstly the application materials (including company brief introduction, quality system authentication, production equipment, nondestructive testing, laboratory and the qualification of the professional staff and the test program made for the whole production process) offered by Dalian Metallurgical Bearing Company should be verified by the nominated surveyor of ABS. Next ABS surveyor came to the factory for watching the raw material blanking, forging, sampling, nondestructive testing and machinery performance testing ect. After the results showed are all in accordance with the standard of ABS and the test Procedure declared, the surveyor will sign the evaluation report on the spot .When the whole process of product processing completed, It need to be formed the traceable written materials then send them to American headquarter for reviewing. According to the related data provided by ABS surveyor, the American headquarter finally issue the formal “Certification of Forging steel Plant” after confirming the plant capability and related reports. The certification laid a good foundation for Large slewing bearing produced by Dalian Metallurgical Bearing Company to occupy international shipping bearing market and develop American shipping bearing market .This is one more certification of production approved by the international bureau of shipping after the company obtaining certification of forging steel plant in China, France and Germany.
