“The development of online quality monitor for grinding of miniature bearing ring” Project of Ningbo MOS Group Corporation (cooperated with Zhejiang University) won the First Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress of Ningbo, which gained award300,000 yuan in total, at the meeting of the enhancement of industrial upgrading transformation and science & technology award held in Ningbo on March 10th. The online quality monitor for grinding of miniature bearing ring developed with multi-founctions which include on-line detection, graphic display, analysis and calculation, and data communications etc. The monitor helps to find the difference between actual feeding curve and theoretical curve by researching and analyzing the relationship between the amount of feeding and the power of main motor (or the electric current) by theory and experiment; measure the influential pattern of the process quality of ring with different feeding ways; provide scientific basis for optimizing technological parameters and achieve the goal of improving the quality of grinding for bearing ring The technological fruit has pretty good promotional value and actively drive to improve the product quality of bearing manufacturing enterprises. The project owe two patents of invention and four software copyrights. The sales revenue of the bearings produced by adopting the technology is up to 86.08 million in total and profit tax is of 22.64 million yuan. Ningbo MOS Group Corporation specializes in producing miniature and small precision deep groove ball bearings, slewing ring bearings (slewing bearings), precision spindle bearings for machine tool, instruments, precision instruments and special machinery, end bearings, precision thin-wall deep groove ball bearings made of stainless steel or special materials etc.
