NMB Factory and Supply Chain Status Update

(March 22, 2011) NMBTC would like to update our customers regarding our employees and supply chain status following the devastating events that have unfolded in Japan this month. Fortunately, all of our employees who reside or were traveling in Japan are accounted for and safe. All of our factories in Japan are in full operation as well. The vast majority of our manufactured products are supplied by our factories in Thailand, China, and Singapore. We are not experiencing any change to our production or delivery schedules at this time. We are currently reviewing our supply chain status. At this time we do not face any immediate parts or raw materials shortages. It is our practice to keep three months’ inventory of raw materials on hand and in transit during normal operations. We will inform our customers if any delivery or schedule changes should occur. Due to transportation and other infrastructure issues, some of our staff in Japan are working offsite for the short term. We may experience some delays in response time when requesting information from Japan operations. Your patience as we work through these issues is much appreciated.
