Bearings Export in Yuci Area Exceeded Millions of Dollars in the First Quarter of this Year

According to the statistics from Ningbo Customs, Yuci area totally exported 340 million sets of bearings in the first quarter of this year with the value of 110 million U.S. dollars, respectively increased by 18.1% and 35.5% compared with the same period of last year. In the meanwhile, the export share in Yuci area accounted for 74.6% among the total export of Ningbo, which was the fourth consecutive quarter for Yuci area with its bearings export maintaining above millions of dollars. The main export market refers to EU (28.672 million dollars), India (21.135 million dollars), and U.S.A (12.238 million dollars). And the export unit price is 0.3 dollars per set, which indicated that the export products in Yuci area are mainly low-end & miniature bearings, to some extent, there is still a certain gap for high-end bearings in performance, accuracy, life, etc. with the international level. Except for occupying the miniature bearing international market share, it is suggested that Yuci area also should take great efforts to develop the researching and industrialization of high-end bearings.
