Saint-Gobain brasive project in Handan, Hebei province, completed and has been put into operation on July 13. During, On the afternoon of July 12th, Mr. Zheng Xuebi, the mayor of Handan, met with the Saint-Gobain chief representative for Asia Pacific area, who went for attending the commissioning ceremony. "Since Handan signed the strategic cooperation agreement with Saint-Gobain, our parternership has developed rapidly, and the cooperation has also achieved remarkable success, which is the a major event for Saint-Gobain, and a good news for development and growth of Handan new material industry. We sincerely hope that Saint-Gobain Group will further strengthen the cooperation with Handan. Thus Handan municipal government will continue to provide Saint-Gobain with high-quality services, and creat a win-win situation with Saint-Gobain Group" Said Mr. Zheng Xuebi. The Saint-Gobain chief representative for Asia Pacific said he was pleased to attend Handan abrasives project commissioning ceremony. Saint-Gobain Group has dozens of factories in China and tens of thousands of employees and their products involved in wide range of areas, moreover, it is the world leader in the industry in many businesses. Thanks to Handan city government support and help, the abrasives project in Handan has been operated smoothly. The group will further deepen the strategic cooperation with Handan to broaden the investment field and make greater contributions for local economic development. Reportedly, after putting into operation, the prject will bring the annual production capacity of 5000 tons of abrasives. The products can be widely used in machinery manufacturing, automobile manufacturing, gear manufacturing, manufacturing and aerospace bearings business.
