Today the majority of such devices use differential gears. Using four-point contact ball bearings, the originality of the Dara differential manufactured by mps is based on a compact modular concept whereby the two inputs of the differential gears are linked in the classical way to the teeth of the barrel-drum's gear and that of the ratchet wheel respectively, the output being linked to the power reserve indicator.
