OneWay-the new ball bearing radial clutch generation
The mps OneWay system is a radial ball clutch class product. The coupling is of the plate gripping type. The cage (also called the ball separator) is divided into several segments. The coupling between the respectively inner and outer rings inside the bearing is in one direction when the balls are stopped by jamming between the outer ring and the segments of the cage used as brake pads against the cone (inner ring).

The unidirectional OneWay bearing is used in the self-winding system and acts as a reverser too. mps has succeeded in coupling together two unidirectional bearings to the oscillating mass bearing. A major advantage of this device is that the bi-directional self-winding system is concentrated into a very small space.
