China bearing steel production hits 2 billion sets

Renowned bearing steel manufacturers, i.e. SKF, NSK, NBM, KOYO, TIMKEN and TORRINGTON, successively invest and set up plants in China this decade, pushing forward China’s technological improvement, management standardization, equipment modernization and quality enhancement. The number of enterprises producing bearing steel above designated size has been beyond 1500, with over 800,000 workers. The production increases from 138,000 sets in 1949 to 2 billion sets for now, with growing specifications from 100 to 7,000 and over 28,000 grades.
