Sales Income for Bearing Industry Expected to Reach 139 Billion Yuan this year

According to the forecasts of China Bearing Industry Association, this year the sales income for national bearing industry is expected to reach 139 billion yuan, grew by 10%, meanwhile the production capacity is estimated to achieve 17 billion sets with an increase of 13.3% compared with the same period of last year. In the aspect of import & export, bearing export for the whole year is expected to reach 4.7 billion sets with the profit of $4.5 billion, rose by 13.25% & 36% respectively. At the same time, bearing import is 1.9 billion sets, grew by 6%, with the foreign import of $4.2 billion, increased about 10.27%. The annual trade surplus expected to be $300 million. Seen from the statistical analysis for major enterprises in bearing industry from January to November, production in major enterprises continued to show steady growth, bearing production & sales basically kept balance, business growth rate slightly declined compared with last month while it has shown a downward steady trend, and the inventory fluctuated with growth. Since the second half of this year, driven by the transition of national policy from the original "growth" to "structural adjustment", influence of the product development from rapid growth to escalating upgrading, meanwhile the international debt crisis of eurozone, especially the influence in August, bearing export decreased for three consecutive months. Experts from China Bearing Industry Association believed that under the common influence for both domestic & international situation, the economic operation for bearing industry was not steady. However, bearing industry remain kept a stable growth situation in 2011 due to the rapid development in the first half of this year.
