Vee bearing ring and track systems from Hepcomotion are designed to help to minimise material movement and conserve floor space in applications such as food and pharmaceutical production.
The PRT2 system from Hepcomotion features concentric and eccentric vee groove bearings and vee edge slides. Vee profile running surfaces enable the vee-bearing equipped carriages to run smoothly along the vee guides and resist lateral or rotation movement.
Within rotary motion, the bearings can be statically mounted and the ring slides rotated relatively to them. Additionally, components such as carriage linkages, drive elements and motors can be added in order to convert the system to actuation.
A range of profile sizes, load capacities, slide lengths, curvature radii and angular spans are offered for the systems, as well as ring disks and slides with integrated racks for actuation by pinion gears. Straight and ring slide segments can be used to enable carriages to follow either straight or circular paths.
Stainless steel components are supplied as standard, but corrosion-proof elements can be specified for applications such as food and pharmaceuticals. Nitrile seals can also be specified to minimise lubrication loss and the ingress of debris.
