Beiman Special Steel Co., Ltd. Completed Task of Entering the High-grade Bearing Steel Market in the First Phase

In the first quarter, the high-grade steel bearing steel storage of Beiman Special Steel Co., Ltd. has reached 1,822 tons, completing 28.03% of the annual plan, created workmanship value of CNY 722,500, completing 29.32% of the planned targets, the pass rate of product quality is 94.74%, an increase of 3.73% compared with 2011, and the products quality has got the highest historic record with the average oxygen content of 6.01PPm. Till now, Beiman Special Steel Co., Ltd. has completed task of entering the high-grade bearing steel market in the first phase, achiving the supply in low-volume, and greatly promoting the improvement of product quality through process improvement and innovation.
Bearing steel is the main variety of Beiman Special Steel Co., Ltd., among which the annual production scale of carbon chromium bearing steel is 200,000 tons. While the products has pretty low added value based on GB/T18254 standard. Since February 2010, Beiman Special Steel Co., Ltd. has been aiming at high-grade bearing steel market and gradually expanding its market share by speeding up technological progress, receiving wide recognization from customers with high product quality. Now Beiman Special Steel Co., Ltd. has become the bulk supplier of two varieties of high-grade bearing steel. In July 2011, Beiman Special Steel Co., Ltd. got the approval of SKF3S products, which will undoubtedly open up a broader market space for Beiman Special Steel Co., Ltd.
The high-grade steel bearing steel has been listed in "New Material and High Quality Speical Steel" recommended by "12th Five-Year Plan" of China and bearings was also listed in "12th Five-Year Plan" of machinery industry. National Standard Commission has begun to modify the national standard of bearing steel, mainly for dividing the three grade standards, namely extra qualified grade, qualified grade and ordinary standard. Therefore, as the bearing steel production base of Dongbei Special Steel Group, it is imperative for Beiman Special Steel Co., Ltd. to implement the steel hierarchical management. The general principle is to divide the existing bearing steel standard into high, medium and low grade, while refining the processes of various grades. In order to produce products which can meet the requirement of different users and different needs, they make different process control points for each grade standard, and adopt the same grade unified process, the unified raw and auxiliary material standard, and unified operating instructions for the same grade products. It is expected that the annual development capacity of of Beiman Special Steel Co., Ltd. will be over 8,000 tons, and creat workmanship value of CNY 3 million in 2012.
