Speaking at Automechanika Middle East in Dubai today (23-5-2012), Mr. Michael Soeding, President, Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket, said:
"This is the first time I attend the fair in Dubai. It is a very professional concept. We see really professional people here. The quality of meetings and discussions we are having here is on a very high scale. The community has become a global village so we see our distributors frequently and are in constant development with them. Our main objective of exhibiting is to create space to host customers to talk in a private and positive atmosphere.
First our principle is to be as local as possible. Being in the area is better than doing business from a remote location. Since we have set up our offices here our business is performing much better.
The Middle East has some specifics where it is of major importance and it is a market that is growing faster than other areas. The business drivers are always likely to change so we need high flexibility and adaptability and this is the reason to be here."
