The prices in bearing steel market kept stable this week. Up to Friday, the average price of continuous casting non-annealed steel nationwide was 5770 yuan/ton, and the prevailing quotations for continuous casting non-annealed steel from the second ranking steel plants in South China was from 5,350 to 5,450 yuan/ton. As the market demand continued to weaken, though the prices in south area remained stable as a whole, the quoted price of some materials has fell to some extent. The continuous introduction of favorable policies failed to bring substantial stimulating effect to the market fundamentals, and traders are difficult to be full of confidence when the shipment level remains unimproved. Seen from the current bearing steel market, it is unlikely to turn good in the short term, and the market will continue run in vulnerable consolidation status next week.
The domestic ore iron powder market in North China experienced slight price rebound this week. The price in ore import market made modest gains, but the inquiry situation was ordinary. The prices in marine market stopped dropping after continued for more than two consecutive weeks and became stable due to the warm-up of the Atlantic market. The domestic pig iron market ran in the downtrend on a stable basis, and the deal was light. The inventory levels in most parts were high except some areas, and the quoted price was relatively out of order. The direct reduction iron market remaind vulnerable operation as a whole, and the turnover situation of spot goods in all areas was normal without fluctuations in spot price in the mainstream market. The domestic steel billet market was in the vulnerable consolidation as a whole, where the prices fell somewhat in most areas, ranging from 10 to 50 yuan/ton. The domestic scrap market ran in the weak tendency: the prices in East China continued to fall, with the range of 30-50 yuan/ton, while the prices in the north such as Tangshan continued to rebound, with the range of about 30 yuan/ton; but in general, the market performance was poor, and traders were still in the depressed mood. The domestic PCI coal market continued the weak trend, where the coal price fell in the range of 10-80 yuan/ton, and the transaction situation was still poor. The price of anthracite coal remained stable, and the procurement initiative was weak in the depressed downstream market, which made the prices in the overall anthracite market go down slowly. The thermal coal market was in the vulnerable operation. The coking coal market was in the weak tendency as a whole, where the transactions were still light with the range of price drop in some areas slightly narrowed. The imported coal market continued the downward trend, where trading appeared unusually light, the shipment situation at each port was not optimistic, the market pessimistic atmosphere continuously spread, and the quoted price of spot goods experienced bigger decreasing amplitude. The coke market continued the downtrend. The common alloy and special alloy markets mainly ran in the vulnerable state, where the prices tend to stabilize with the prices of some varieties slightly lowered.
[East China Region] This week, the prices of some bearing steel products in East China market slightly decreased, and the market deal was common. Up to this weekend, the quotations in Hangzhou market are as follows: Xinye GCr15Φ50-70 non-annealed steel was 5350 yuan/ton; Echeng Steel GCr15Φ30-75 heat-treated non-annealed steel was 5,350 to 5,400 yuan/ton; Shanghai No.5 Steel Plant GCr15Φ26-70 heat-treated spheroidizing annealed steel was 7,300 yuan/ton; Xingcheng Steel GCr15Φ50 non-annealed steel was 5,750 yuan/ton, less stock; Nanjing Steel Group GCr15Φ16-40 heat-treated non-annealed steel was 5,350 to 5,400 yuan/ton; Dongbei Special Steel GCr15Φ30-95 hot-rolled non-annealed steel was 5,450 yuan/ton; Shougang Group GCr15Φ50 hot-rolled non-annealed steel was out of stock. This week, the bearing steel price in Wuxi market was basically stable, and the deal was common; Up to this weekend, the quotations in Wuxi market are as follows: Xingcheng Steel GCr15Φ30-75 hot-rolled non-annealed steel was 5,600 yuan/ton, out of stock; Xinyegang Steel GCr15Φ30-50 continuous casting annealed steel was 6,100 yuan/ton; Beiman Steel GCr15Φ40-75 heat-treated annealed steel was 6,150 yuan/ton; Wuxi Huarun Steel GCr15Φ50-80 hot-rolled non-annealed steel was 5,400 yuan/ton, less stock; Nanjing Steel GCr15Φ50 hot-rolled non-annealed steel was around 5,400 to 5,450 yuan/ton; Dongbei Special Steel GCr15Φ40-75 hot-rolled non-annealed steel was 5,450 to 5,500 yuan/ton.
[Central South China Region] This week, the bearing steel price in Luoyang market kept stable and the deal was light. Up to this weekend, the quotations in Luoyang market are as follows: Shijiazhuang Steel GCr15Φ16-50 heat-treated annealed steel was 6,500 yuan/ton and GCr15Φ24-50 continuous casting non-annealed steel was 5,600 yuan/ton; Xinyegang Steel GCr15Φ50-130 die-casting non-annealed steel was 7,700 yuan/ton, out of stock; Changcheng Special Steel GCr15Φ45 continuous casting annealed steel was 6,500 yuan/ton, out of stock, and the die-casting non-annealed steel was 5,500 to 5,550 yuan/ton; Xining Steel GCr15Φ25-70 continuous casting non-annealed steal was 5,550 yuan/ton. This week, the bearing steel price in Wuhan market was stable for temporary and the deal was common. Echeng Steel GCr15Φ14-30 continuous casting non-annealed steel was 5,400 yuan/ton; Xinyegang Steel GCr15Φ80-110 continuous casting non-annealed steel was 6,000 yuan/ton, GCr15Φ40-75 continuous casting non-annealed steel was 5,950 yuan/ton, and the die-casting annealed steel was 7,800 yuan/ton.
[North China Region] This week, the bearing steel prices in Shenyang market remained stable and the deal was common. Up to this weekend, Dongbei Special Steel GCr15Φ25-60 continuous casting non-annealed steel was 5,500 yuan/ton, out of stock; Dongbei Special Steel GCr15Φ25-40 continuous casting annealed steel was 6,100 yuan/ton; Benxi Steel Φ70-130 continuous casting steel was 5,350 to 5,400 yuan/ton, Benxi Steel GCr15Φ150-180 die-casting annealed steel was 7,200 yuan/ton. This week, the bearing steel price in Harbin market maintained stable and the deal was common. Benxi Steel GCr15Φ50-75 heat-treated annealed steel was 6,900 yuan/ton, out of stock; Dongbei Special Steel GCr15Φ50 heat-treated annealed steel was out of stock; Dongbei Special Steel GCr15Φ40-75 continuous casting non-annealed steel was 5,750 yuan/ton.
[Southwest China Region] This week, the bearing steel prices in Chengdu market was temporarily stable and the market resources were not sufficient. Up to this weekend, Xinyegang Steel GCr15Φ50 continuous casting non-annealed steel was 6100 yuan/ton, Changcheng Steel GCr15Φ80-130 continuous casting annealed steel was 6,450 yuan/ton; Xining Steel Φ150-200 die-casting annealed steel was 7,800 yuan/ton, out of stock; Xining Steel GCr15Φ30-75 continuous casting annealed steel was 6,500 yuan/ton, less stock. This week, the bearing steel prices in Chongqing market kept stable. Donghua Special Steel GCr15Φ20-30 heat-treated annealed steel was out of stock; Xining Steel Φ80-120 rolled annealed steel was 6,600 yuan/ton, out of stock; Changcheng Steel GCr15Φ30-65 continuous casting non-annealed steel was 6,050 yuan/ton, some of GCr15Φ30-65 continuous casting annealed steel was 6,600 yuan/ton; Xining Steel Φ80-150 forged annealed steel was 7,600 yuan/ton, less stock.
