Ellsworth Adhesives Adds Molykote® G-1502FM Synthetic Bearing and Gear Grease to Product Line

Ellsworth Adhesives has added Molykote® G-1502FM Synthetic Bearing and Gear Grease to its extensive line of Dow Corning Molykote products. The product has been described as “tenaciously tacky” as a result of the product’s resistance to water spray-off. As a result, users of the product can dramatically reduce grease application cycles in aqueous environments and substantially reduce total costs. Molykote® G-1502FM was developed to withstand water spray-off and reduce wear scar in water-rich environments. It has been tested to ASTM methods ASTM D-4049 (Water Spray-Off), ASTM D2266 (Wear), and ASTM D-6138-07 (Corrosion). Testing with competitive materials demonstrates that Molykote G-1502FM reduces wear and resists water spray-off. Molykote® G1502FM is also approved for food contact. The white grease has a service temperature range between -40 C and 149 C. Ellsworth Adhesives can supply the product in 400g cartridges, 50kg drums, and 180kg drums.
