NTN will run a booth at China Wind Power 2012 with the theme “Proposal for next-generation wind power generators - Rising to the challenge of improving reliability”.
The front area of the booth will feature a dynamic cutaway model of a wind power generator (with a model nacelle approximately 4 m in size), as well as bearings for wind power generators (bearings for main shafts, gearboxes, and power generators). The condition monitoring system for wind power generators (CMS), which is a newly developed product with advanced protection against dust and water, will also be on show.
Other products will include traceability management technology required for the long-term operation of large bearings made possible with the IC Tag Integrated Bearing, and new maintenance and inspection technology in the form of the maintenance kit.

Condition Monitoring System for Wind Power Generators (CMS)
A CMS comprised of the world's smallest class data collection device, measurement sensor, and data control, monitoring and analysis software. The first CMS in Japan to acquire GL certification (certification system developed for wind power generators).

Open spherical roller bearings that achieved the highest level of load capacities in the world have now been fitted with thin, specially-designed contact seals to ensure a more compact bearing width dimension and stable sealing performance.
