RKB announces New paper on the role of roughness by prof. Cretu

The presentation of a new scientific article on the importance of roughness has been held in July by prof. Spiridon Cretu, head of the RKB Engineering and Research Department, at the 11th biennial conference on Engineering Systems Design and Analysis (ESDA) of ASME 2012 in Nantes (France). The paper, entitled “Pressures Distributions and Depth Stresses Developed in Concentrated Contacts Between Elements with Non-Gaussian Rough Surfaces” deals with the crucial topic of optimized roughness to extend bearing rating life.
