Igus launches heavy-duty Igubal bearing designed for use in arduous environments
Igus UK has launched a heavy-duty version of its Igubal clip spherical bearing suitable for applications where the bearing position is accessible from one side only — such as in closed machine housings or in a façade.
The new, cost-effective bearing has been developed for machines and plant systems that have a minimum of available space.
Extremely compact and designed to be fitted into sheets with a thickness of 4–8mm, the lightweight bearing can absorb high loads of up to 12.5kN radially and 350N axially. The pre-tension of collar and locating lug compensate the clearance in two axes.
