Visit of Executive Director of ZKL Bearings CZ, a.s. in Argentina and Brazil

In the first half of March 2013 Mr. Michal Zafirelis, Executive Director of ZKL Bearings CZ, a.s. realized his business trip in Argentina and Brazil. Mr. Jan Kovařík, Executive Director of ZKL Rodamientos S.A. accompanied him on this trip.
During the business trip Mr. Zafirelis was acquainted with the final restructuring of the affiliates in Argentina. The target of the restructuring is the maximum possible efficiency of ZKL activities in South America market, increasing of sale in the territory and support of official importers and distributors with finding end users of bearings and customers from OEM area.
In Argentina Mr. Zafirelis and Mr. Kovařík met one of our main importer and distributor the company Tottis S.A. represented by Mr. Rubén and Mr. Adrianem Tottis. Contemporary cooperation was evaluated as very successful. ZKL appreciates the approach of Tottis company (and of course other main importers and distributors of ZKL) in current very difficult situation in the country concerning the matter of restrictive import policy. Representatives of Tottis company appreciated understanding of the whole situation from ZKL side and its quick adaptation in new conditions. During the stay in Argentina several end users and OEM customers from area of agribusiness and engineering was visited.
Mr. Zafirelis and Mr. Kovařík also negotiated with representatives of Czech embassy in Buenos Aires who express their maximum support for ZKL activities in Argentina market.
In Brazil, the main discussions took place with representatives of the firm LUCIOS Ltda., which is a major importer and distributor of ZKL bearings in Brazil. A presentation of ZKL brand was made in the premises of Lucios company in Belo Horizonte. The presentation was attended by both sale managers of Lucios company as well as representatives of the other distribution companies and end users of bearings (EDU = end users). During this presentation, representatives and customers were informed about the main target segments on the market where ZKL operates and they were also acquainted with innovations and current production program of ZKL Group. Contemporary ZKL business strategy in the Brazilian market was presented too.
Another mutual process in sale of bearings was discussed with representatives of Lucios Company. For the purpose of ZKL brand certification the main target groups of customers from mining, metallurgy and engineering industry were defined. On this occasion representatives of ZKL visited also several mining and engineering companies.
Representatives of ZKL Group want to thank representatives of all visited companies for their helpful dealings and positive approach. Special thanks belong to the company Lucios for providing suitable space for presentation of ZKL brand.
