Baosteel Reelected as General Motor's Global Supplier of the Year

On the recently held 21th General Motor "Supplier of the Year" awards ceremony, Baosteel becomes the only iron and steel enterprise which wins 2012 "Global Supplier of the Year". This is the third time that Baosteel wins this title following 2006 and 2011. In recent years, Baosteel's cooperation with General Motors undergoes all-round expansion and upgrade. In domestic market, with lightweight, green and environmental friendly as the aim, Baosteel continues to bring new products and new technology into application and consolidates bilateral strategic and cooperative relations. In overseas market, on the one hand, it maintains stable supply to America, South Korea, Australia and India, on the other hand it actively enters Thailand and South Africa emerging markets. Meanwhile it continues to strengthen automobile plate supply and service system building and actively promotes Baosteel's service and support capabilities in overseas market.
